Taken By Cars

Taken by Cars is one of my favorite bands, proud to say they are from Philippines. Their music has  dancy beats that will surely make you dance and has relaxed sounds.

Dualist is the band's second album. Dualist was more favorably received by both critics and fans compared to their first album Endings of A New Kind, which received moderate to positive reviews.

Project X

An another party movie we all have got to watch, and the party we have dreamed about. "Project X is a 2012 comedy film directed by Nima Nourizadeh in his feature film debut, written by Michael Bacall and Matt Drake based on a story by Bacall, and produced byThe Hangover director Todd Phillips. The plot follows Thomas (Thomas Mann), Costa (Oliver Cooper) and J.B. (Jonathan Daniel Brown), three friends who plan to gain popularity by throwing a party, a plan which quickly escalates out of their control." sounds hilarious?

I haven't still watched Project X yet, but I'm dying to see the awesomeness of the movie hopefully real soon.

Rainy Sunday

Sunday night and it's raining hard here in manila. Sometimes I wonder where did this rain come from. Anyway, rain makes everything better, agree? not? Fuck yeah, sometimes not. Why?

  1. Because sometimes it reminds us the sad moments in our life
  2. We listen to emo songs
  3. We become EMO
  4. We become unproductive because we just want to lay down in bed
  5. It costs traffic
  6. It costs more accidents
  7. Thousands of people battle with the FLOOD
  8. Thousands of people get stranded
  9. It makes emo kids happy. Which defeats the point of being emo
  10. We get W E T
There are probably more reasons, but at this point I think these will suffice.

Enjoy this music video of Paramore. Perfect for rainy weather, eh? haha

When Boredom Kills

Friday night at home: stare at my computer screen for tong time, go to same website over and over again, listen to a type of music that I don't normally listen to, make a list of stupid things to do when bored and START A BLOG.

FYI guys, I normally listen to alternative rock, I usually DON"T like heavy metal. For some reason: WEIRD! and too loud. But tonight I am listening to heavy metal just because my brother's listening to it.

"Wilabaliw is one of the most dynamic forces in the local music scene today.  With a front man like the wildly talented Ian Tayao and other members like legendary drummer Robert dela Cruz (of Skychurch fame), Louis Isok and Francis Magat, it’s easy to see why the band is currently one of the most sought after live acts. Born from the shared vision of producing good music despite coming from a wide spectrum of musical genres (it’s literally an enchilada from folk rock to heavy metal), Wilabaliw has emerged as a creative force that continues to push boundaries and tap into new audiences during a time when it seems like institutions of the local rock scene seem to be running out of steam."

Genre: Fusion Rock

WilaBaliW playing Diveler from their album 10.10.10.

Here's the list of stupid things I want to do when bored.
  1. Be a superhero...for a day!
  2. Be a non-being
  3. Star Gaze at restroom
  4. Pull the fire alarm
  5. Call a wrong number and talk to whoever answers. then scream PUTANGINA!
  6. Climb the walls
  7. Kill myself then call 911
  8. Drink soy sauce or vinegar
  9. Flirt with people
  10. Drink to death
Some of this thing quite impossible to do, right? haha that's when boredom kills, you imagine so many things that definitely impossible to happen.

Indie Wednesday

Carousel have been buzzing all around the interwebs and with the good reason! Their newest release, ‘Let’s Go Home’, is a blend of bright, Passion Pit-esque, synths, shoe-gazing calm vocals, and big pop melodies reminiscent of Owl City and Lights. ‘Let’s Go Home’ is some how both soothing and captivating.

Enjoy this awesome music video. which, in my opinion, deserves way more views! :)

If You Forget Me by Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.
You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

Well, now,
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.

If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you.

If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.

But
if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
ah my love, ah my own,
in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine.
