uggggh

This might be the first time I would express my feelings, well, the TRUE feelings that I have been felt. I would say, for about the last few months. I have had this feeling that I am being drug down in life, that something is taking me lower and lower, down the depths. I cannot put a finger on what it is EXACTLY.. maybe it's a sense of apprehension in life, afraid to fail. not to say I haven't failed before. I have and may again. but i stay strong, continuing on in life. I have SOOO much to offer the world. My intelligence, intellect, witty sense of humor, my passion for life and my love to live everyday as if it's my last. I am shy sometimes when it comes to expressing myself. maybe that is why...

SOMEDAY YOU WILL BE PROUD OF ME.

Disclosure – Latch

A lot of songs are written about lust and the immediate rush of falling head over heels in love with someone, but few seem to sum up its deliriousness as brilliantly as Latch, the latest single from brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, aka Disclosure. Featuring full-bodied vocals from newcomer Sam Smith, it's a slowly unravelling ode to the thrill of wanting to figuratively (and possibly literally) latch on to someone else: "Now I've got you in my space, I won't let go of you / I've got you shackled in my embrace, I'm latching on to you." For the video – premiered here – (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93ASUImTedo) we get to see a lot of good-looking people basically just getting off with each other in various locations – in a lift, on a bed and, finally, on a revolving platform of some kind. Latch is the duo's first single since signing a deal with PMR Records, who recently released Jessie Ware's first album, so know a thing or two about songs that feel emotionally direct and intimate.

You left my heart out
When the rest of me is down
You, you enchanted me, even when you are not around
If there are boundaries, I will try to knock them down
I’m latching on they
Now I know what I have found

I feel you close enough
I wanna latch in your love
I think we’re close enough
Cuz I latch when you’re mine

Now I got you in my space
I won’t let go with you
What you shackle in my embrace
I’m latching on you

Now I got you in my space
I won’t let go with you
What you shackle in my embrace
I’m latching on you

I’m so encaptured, got wrapped up in your touch
Feel so enamored, hold me tighter then your clutch
How do you do it, you got me losing every breath
Why did you give me to make my heart bleed out my chest

I feel you close enough
I wanna latch in your love
I think we’re close enough
Could I latch in your love, baby
I feel we’re close enough
I wanna latch in your love
I think we’re close enough
Could I latch in your love, baby

Now I got you in my space
I won’t let go with you
What you shackled in my embrace
I’m latching on you

Now I got you in my space
I won’t let go with you
What you shackled in my embrace
I’m latching on you
latching on you
I won’t let go with you
(I won’t let go)
latching on you
I won’t let go with you

Solange: "Losing You"

woah holy crap, it's been a month since I blogged. I really have been a slacker, haven't I. I haven't been very good about blogging. but I'm back, I'm gonna blog about Solange new single "Losing You"
Along with Sky Ferreira's "Everything Is Embarrassing", Solange's "Losing You" makes for a fine diptych of relationship turmoil from songwriter and producer Dev Hynes. But the song's video, which features Solange zooming around South Africa, gives away the gambit. Unlike "Everything," a slow jam that glows with gloom, "Losing You" is ultimately driven by what you hear in the first 20 seconds: a funky guitar lick, a sample of a jubilant party, and a bubbly drumbeat. Solange cooly asks, "Tell me the truth, boy, am I losing you for good?" throughout, but even after the song submerges itself in fog, those elements never let up. There is a yearning at the heart of "Losing You", but its beat underscores Solange's desire for a clean break. She is waiting to dance it all away, or to take a trip, jump in the pool with her clothes on and forget it all. Everything, on the contrary, is actually okay.

August Rush

Wow, August rush. how time flies so fast, it's already the last month before the -BER months come in. This early, many of us are already anticipating Christmas. Yes, you may be surprised that in our country we start celebrating Christmas this early. I don't know why too. But at the first day of September we can already hear Christmas songs over the radio early in the morning! Some buy Christmas gifts for their 'INAANAK', relatives and for their loved ones too. It's so crazy that no matter how poor is our country, we never fail to give presents on this special day.  HOORAY! It's More Fun in The Philippines.

Let me share to you my favorite Christmas Song. I don't know why but this song puts a tear in my eye! haha

ADVANCE MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Jessie Ware: "Sweet Talk"

Every once in a while, a song comes along that is the perfect mix of production, theme, and content-- a song like Jessie Ware's "Sweet Talk", a single taken from her upcoming album Devotion. It's a song infused with delicate yearning, a celebration of that moment where you give in to complication. "I thought you knew I had to stay away from you/ I fought you hard, yet still you have the power," it starts, a Fender Rhodes-like keyboard melody and behind-the-beat percussion living an ocean of space for the listener to fill with his or her own desires. It's Sade, it's Marvin Gaye; it's unbelievably sexy but also thoughtful; it's sad and wistful and, ultimately, grounded. It pulls me in and it works for me, so I never leave.
